Scott Socha is vice president - treasurer for Delaware North Companies, a global leader in hospitality and food service. With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and 55,000 employees, Delaware North is one of the largest privately held companies in the world.

 

Socha oversees Delaware North’s worldwide cash-management activities specific to business operations, capital projects and acquisitions. He manages relationships with external capital providers, including banks throughout the world. 

 

Socha began his career with Delaware North in 1999. Through the years, he has held various high-level positions in or directly related to finance, including manager of financial planning and analysis, and assistant controller. He has also spent a considerable amount of time with Delaware North’s parks and resorts division as vice president of finance and, most recently, vice president of business development. 

 

A graduate of St. John Fisher College near Rochester, N.Y., with an undergraduate degree in international business and finance, Socha also holds an MBA in finance from the University at Buffalo. Among several professional affiliations, Socha is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and completed the leadership best practices certification at the Harvard Business School.
