Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa is part of the Delaware North Companies (DNC) family of hotels and resorts. Situated in some of the most spectacular and special places in North America, DNC set out to ensure that these treasures would be here for generations. The creation and implementation of a system of environmental management that would help to protect these special places, and see that they remain magnificent for years to come.

This sense of stewardship gave rise to GreenPath® a formal, documented and comprehensive environmental management system covering just about everything we could think of to preserve and protect the natural resources at some of the most beautiful places on Earth.

Associates embraced this program, finding dozens of new ways to conserve resources and protect the environment. Yet, they soon wanted more: to be certain that GreenPath® became a permanent part of the  company’s culture, to be assured that everything possible was being done for the environment, and inspiring others to follow.

The International Standards Organisation - ISO 14001 registration puts the burden on each Delaware North GreenPath® property to maintain strict environmental standards designed to protect their environment. Auditors perform stringent site inspections to ensure that each property is maintaining ISO 14001 standards. Compliance with environmental regulations, progress with environmental management programs, and associate awareness of the environmental management system (GreenPath®) are verified during site inspections by third-party auditors.
